Content rating & data safety
This page is maintained by the Neurobite team to answer the questions app stores, schools and clinics most often ask about the app. It reflects the current build and is updated when the app changes. It is not an independent certification or audit.

Does the app allow users to interact or exchange content?
Yes — signed-in members can post to the community feed and reply to posts. Posts are text and optional images, moderated by administrators, and can be removed by their author or an admin.
Does the app share the user's location with other users?
No. Country is an optional profile field and is never shared as a live location.
Does the app allow users to purchase digital goods?
Yes — optional Premium and Professional subscriptions, billed through Stripe. There is a free tier and no advertising to children.
Does the app contain user-generated content shared publicly?
Community posts are visible only to signed-in members, never to anonymous visitors or search engines.
Does the app provide medical, health or fitness guidance?
Educational nutrition and feeding support only. Neurobite does not diagnose, screen for, or treat any condition, and every AI-assisted output carries that disclaimer.
Target audience
Adults — parents, caregivers and clinicians. The app is not designed for or marketed to children, although the plans they create are about children.
Expected rating: suitable for everyone, with a note that the app includes user-to-user communication and optional in-app subscriptions.
Data safety summary
Personal info collected
Name, email address and optional profile details (country, bio, avatar).
Health information collected
Caregiver-entered food logs, symptom ratings, growth measures, supplement and medication reminders — stored against the caregiver's own account.
Data encrypted in transit
Yes, HTTPS/TLS on all requests.
Data sharing with third parties
No sale of personal data. Payments are processed by Stripe and AI features send only the prompt content needed to generate a plan.
Account and data deletion
Users can request account and data deletion at any time by emailing info@neurobite.org; requests are actioned within 30 days.
Advertising
No third-party ad networks. Sponsored nutrition content appears only inside the Food Protocol library, is reviewed as family-safe, and is never personalised using health data.
Reviewer access
Store reviewers can sign in with the dedicated demo account supplied in our review notes. It has all premium features unlocked, never expires, requires no payment, and there is no two-factor step — a single email and password sign-in is all that is needed. If the credentials are missing from a submission, email info@neurobite.org.
Neurobite is an educational nutrition and feeding support tool. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment — always consult your care team before changing a nutrition or medication plan.
